Cuisine of Jamaica

Many people know from Jamaica because of the music (including, of course, Bob Marley) is coming from this nation. However, not many Jamaicans are not aware of good food and interesting, which is also the country. That is very unfortunate, as Jamaican food offers a variety of interesting recipes - especially if you enjoy eating spicy dishes.

Perhaps the best known Jamaican-style recipe is "asshole." This is meat that has been marinated or dry rubbedwith a mixture of spices like pepper fire jerk known. Historically, the meat is then smoked over a small fire, but today the jerk dishes are usually prepared on a grill or barbecue, or can be cooked at home in a normal kitchen oven. More adventurous types have been known to try to shake with seafood or tofu!

Jamaica's national dish, often eatenfor breakfast is ackee and salt fish. This is cod, which washed and rehydrated and then roasted, salted with the other ingredients.
